Blame it on American Idol contestant Karen Rodriguez to force me to watch the 1997 biographical film Selena.Jennifer Lopez sure gave the best performance of her life, her quirky comedy,bubbliness,energy and emotion won me over.After watching the film,I had the utmost respect to the Mexican-American singer Selena,who unfortunately was shot by her fan manager.It shows in the film why audiences fell in love with her ,it was her infectious spirit,warmth and of course her amazing talent.The music still lives on and it does trascends above everything else....
